Frequently Asked Questions

Am I required to attend a class?
No. This course is entirely online.

Am I required to complete the course in one sitting?
No. Our course offers you the ability to log in and out as often as needed. There are not any limits on how much time you spend on the course, and you may review sections or repeat quizzes over and over again as much as you need to.

How long will it take me to complete the course?
The course is completely self-paced and the time it takes to complete it will vary from person to person. It is possible to complete it in just a few hours, but that depends largely on how quickly you can read and comprehend the study material. We do not guarantee a specific amount of time.

Should I select the county where I live?
No - you need to select the county in which you received your citation. Your citation will indicate the county/court information for the jurisdiction where you were cited. Check the information you received from your court, or contact the court if you have any questions.

How many sections are there?
The course is made up of 12 sections. Each section has a 2 or 3 question quiz.

Where will my certificate be delivered?
Your completion certificate is electronically sent to the court. No fuss for you. We handle that.

What is a verification document?
During the registration process you may be given an option to purchase a verification document. This document serves the purpose of providing you additional proof that you completed traffic school. It is for your personal records. However, it can be used to provide proof to your insurance company and/or employer. The verification document is not the official court certificate. The official certificate is electronically sent to the court and is included in the regular course fee.

How do I know if I qualify for traffic school?
You should contact the court to verify your eligibility.

What happens if I don't pass?
This program is designed to give you every opportunity to pass the course. You may review the material and take the quizzes as many times as you need to. Everything is open book, including the final exam. The DMV will only allow 2 attempts at passing the final exam. If you do not pass you will need to register for the course again.

What if I need to change my mailing address or other information?
Students can change their information any time before taking the final exam by selecting the "My Profile" button on the menu.
